Leadership
I am hard working, responsible and detail oriented. I am currently the President of the Future Business Leaders of America, Founder and President of S.A.V.E., Students Actively Volunteering Every way and Executive Council member of The National Honor Society and Students Against Destructive Decisions. I have also served as Student Class President, Representative, Special Events Coordinator and Secretary of Student Council.
Interpersonal Relations/Problem Solving
Through all of my extracurricular activities and Community Service, I have become extremely capable at working well with others by being interested in the people I am working with. By listening to the opinions and suggestions of my coworkers and expressing my own, as a team we become more capable of accomplishing our goal and are able to solve any problems that may arise.
Organization
I have organized a fund raising Fashion Show in 2011 and I am currently organizing another for 2012. I have founded and organized S.A.V.E., Students Actively Volunteering Every way. Within Student Council, The Future Business Leaders of America and Students Against Destructive Decisions I have organized, and helped to organize homecoming, pep rallies, holiday activities, luncheons and many other activities for the Primary, Intermediate, Middle and High School students of Wallenpaupack Area High School.

Packages from Home Benefit
From February of 2009 to May of 2011 I assisted in the planning and solicitation of donations for Packages from Home Benefits that were held at The Hideout, Lake Ariel, PA. Packages from Home are an organization that donates food, personal care, and recreational items to deployed American troops. From July of 2011 to January 8th 2012 I will be organizing a Prom Fashion Show to be held at Wallenpaupack Area High School, Hawley, PA, with all the proceeds to benefit the family of David Iachella. David a 17 year old senior at Wallenpaupack Area High School passed away in August of 2011 from Epithelioid Sarcoma an extremely rare form of cancer. David’s family is currently struggling to pay for his medical treatments which were not covered by their medical insurance.
President and Founder of S.A.V.E. (Students Actively Volunteering Every way)
S.A.V.E., Students Actively Volunteering Every way, is a student volunteer group at Wallenpaupack Area High School. In order to bring the school and local community together, S.A.V.E. makes a concerted effort to recruit students from different interests and backgrounds and have the students volunteer in areas they might not normally experience. S.A.V.E. gives back to the community by working with various organizations, such as: Ellen Memorial Nursing Home, Dessin Animal Shelter, CMC Hospital, the Hawley Library and more to come. We also hold fundraisers, with all the proceeds raised going into the S.A.V.E. Fund. The S.A.V.E. Fund will benefit families affected by tragedy or hardship within our school district. The fund will be overseen by a board consisting of Wallenpaupack Area High School administrators, teachers and guidance counselors. If possible I would like to organize a club similar to S.A.V.E. within the university or college I attend or join a similar club that is already established.
